About the Journal

Noblesse Oblige Law Journal (NOLAN) is an open access and peer-reviewed legal journal, published by Faculty of Law, Universitas OSO which was founded in 2023. NOLAN aims to be a means of disseminating knowledge through legal education and research platforms written by national and international academics, researchers and legal practitioners. The scope of legal scholarship offered on this journal platform is not limited to legal scholarship, such as Criminal Law, Islamic Law, Human Rights Law, Administrative and Constitutional Law, Agrarian Law, International Law, Cyber Law, Environmental Law, Philosophy and Legal Theory, and Sociology of Law.

All articles sent to this journal can be in English or Indonesian. To avoid indications of double publication, all articles submitted through this journal may not be published or are currently under consideration on other journal publication platforms. The Editorial Board screens for plagiarism using a plagiarism detection program. Article manuscripts that are indicated to be plagiarized above 30% will be automatically rejected by the editorial board. The decision whether an article is accepted or not is the right of the Editorial Board based on peer review recommendations.

NOLAN will only accept articles that follow established journal writing guidelines. If the manuscript does not comply with the writing guidelines, the editorial team automatically rejects the article before review. The Editorial Team will only accept manuscripts that meet the specified requirements.
