Peer Review Process

Noblesse Oblige Law Journal (NOLAN) maintains peer-review standards while increasing the efficiency of the process. All manuscripts article published in the Noblesse Oblige Law Journal (NOLAN) are reviewed and approved by fully qualified peer review according to expertise in the field of the article. We implement a double-blind peer review process. Information regarding the flow of manuscript submission until acceptance by the editor is depicted as follows.

1. Author Submission Manuscript Article
     -  Author submission manuscripts article via the online system.
     -  First time users can register to create an account.
     -  Users who already have an account can log in directly.
     -  Submission manuscripts article will be acknowledged within 1 week of receipt.

2. Manuscript Check and Selection
All submitted manuscripts article will be evaluated for their suitability based on the focus and scope of the journal, and will meet the writing standards set by NOLAN Editorial. Manuscripts article that do not comply with established standards will be rejected without external approval. After the process of evaluating the suitability of the article manuscript, the NOLAN Editor will check for plagiarism or double publication using a plagiarism checking program.

3. Manuscript Reviewing Process
After going through the NOLAN editorial evaluation stage, article manuscripts that have passed the screening and plagiarism checking stages will be distributed to two experts in related fields to undergo double blind peer-review. The peer-review process takes a maximum of 2 weeks.

4. Notification of Manuscript
A decision on a manuscript article that has gone through the peer-review process will be given after two reviewers have submitted a review report. If the two reviewers express differences of opinion regarding the article manuscript, the final decision will be submitted to the Editor-in-Chief. At this stage, the author will have reached at least one of these decisions
 -  Acceptance (accepted without revision):
 -  Revision (accepted with revision)
 -  Recejtion (rejected)

5. Revision Submission base on Reviewer Sugestion
Manuscripts article that receive recommendations for revision will be returned to the author. Authors have up to 2 weeks to revise the manuscript article.

6. Final Decision
Manuscripts article received are processed for publication after successfully completing the terms and conditions of the journal and will go through the final editing and layout process.
